At the threshold of the International Day Agianst Drugs on June 26, a Viet Namese woman was recently caught by Wuhan Border Guards when departing Wuhan for Shenzhen. The woman possessed 655 grams of heroin hidden in the buttons of 12 gowns. This is reportedly the first major drug smuggling case ever solved by local border guards in Wuhan since the city opened its border to the international community 22 years ago. The case has been transferred to relevant departments for further investigations.
